Privacy
Short version: we collect the details you give us in the enquiry form, we use them to answer your enquiry and arrange storage within the Ottano network, and we do not sell them to anyone.
What We Collect
- What you tell us in the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, address, vehicle make, model and registration, and any note you add.
- The search that produced the enquiry: the postcode you entered, the drive time you chose, how many cars you have, and which storage location you asked about.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, time of request) kept for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising trackers or third party analytics cookies.
What We Do With It
- Identify suitable storage locations within the Ottano network and arrange availability, services and terms for your car.
- Contact you with those options and follow up on your enquiry.
We share your details only where they are needed to arrange the storage you have asked about. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
Services We Rely On
Postcode lookups use postcodes.io, map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, and driving times are calculated by OSRM. These services see the postcode and coordinates involved in a search. They do not receive your name, email, address, phone number or vehicle details.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are working on them and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer questions about your storage. Ask us to delete your details and we will.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Send us an enquiry through the site saying what you want and we will action it.
