Terms of use
CarStash is a free search and introduction service. We help you find storage and get quotes; the storage contract itself is always between you and the operator.
What we do
We show you car-storage operators near a postcode you give us, and on request we approach those operators for a price on your behalf. Using the site and requesting quotes costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
What we don't do
We don't store vehicles ourselves, and we're not an agent of the operator. We don't guarantee that an operator has space, will accept your vehicle, or will honour a price we've quoted if circumstances change. Nothing on this site is an offer of a contract.
Accuracy of listings
Operator details and facilities are taken from operators' own published information and are given in good faith, but they change. Drive times are calculated with live road routing and are estimates, not guarantees. Always confirm the specifics — insurance cover, access hours, security, price — directly with the operator before you commit.
Your side
Give us accurate contact details and a genuine enquiry. Don't use the site to scrape our listings, to send operators spam, or to enquire about storing anything you're not legally entitled to store.
Money
You pay CarStash nothing. Where a booking goes ahead, the operator pays us a commission out of the rate we agreed with them. The price we quote you is inclusive of that; there is no separate fee added to your bill.
Liability
We're responsible for running the search service with reasonable care. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of a storage operator, for loss or damage to a vehicle in storage, or for any dispute arising out of a contract you enter into with an operator. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the service develops, and the current version always lives at this address.
